Lac La Biche County Council adopted the 2022-2032 Strategic Plan, which sets recreation and culture as one of the Council’s main focuses.
Council believes that recreation opportunities should be available, accessible, and affordable. To that end, the Bold Centre and its staff are committed to providing recreational amenities, cultural services, and supporting infrastructure to ensure that citizens and visitors have the opportunity to experience Lac La Biche County’s multicultural and recreational diversity.

The Bold Centre is a state-of-the-art multiplex facility operated by Lac La Biche County.

There is a total of 34,100 square feet of space in the fieldhouses. Fieldhouses are perfect for volleyball, soccer, basketball, badminton, floor hockey, tournaments, trade shows, concerts, and much more.
The Bold Centre Fitness and Wellness Centre offers over 9,000 square feet of weight training and cardio fun, not to mention a boxing ring for up-and-coming fighters.
Plan your next meeting in one of the three meeting rooms. For larger events, you might want to try our expansive community hall which has a comfortable seating capacity for 400 people.
Bold Centre Rentals
The Bold Centre has a wide range of facilities available for rent. Our space includes everything from meeting rooms and activity spaces to large areas ideally suited for formal banquets or trade shows. Make the Bold Centre the venue for your next major event!

- This banquet hall makes the perfect venue for large functions such as weddings and community events with a private entrance.
- Accommodates up to 600 guests with chairs only, 500 guests with rectangular tables, and 320-400 guests with round tables
- Full-service kitchen and bar can be rented or used for catering
- Sound system, audio visual equipment, and staging available

McArthur Community Hall
- This banquet hall is the perfect venue for hosting weddings and larger events
- Accommodates approximately 140 people
