All Aquafit classes are taught by a certified WaterART™ instructor. Classes improve flexibility, aerobic capacity, muscular strength, and endurance. Aquafit is low-impact and well suited to seniors and those just starting out on their fitness journey.
Designed for parents/guardians of toddlers aged 3 and under, this class combines fitness and fun! Begin with a 30-minute workout with your child in a baby boat, followed by a 30-minute parent & tot lesson.

Take a break from your desk with this short, high-intensity water workout that’s still easy on the joints. Join us over your lunch break to get pumped up for the rest of your day! Ages 15+.
Aqua Deep is a great way to burn calories and tone up in a non-impact environment. Participants use a variety of flotation devices to get a cardio and muscular workout.
It’s never too late to learn how to swim or improve your technique! Portage Pool offers adult swimming lessons for people of all abilities aged 16 and up.
Adult & Teen Learn To Swim
In this drop in friendly class, you’ll work on basic swimming skills to keep you safe and enjoy all of the benefits of swimming! Focus on developing basic front and back crawl, as well as entries and treading water. This class is suitable for absolute beginners who can’t swim, and those with some skills like doggy paddling.
NEW Adult & Teen Strokes
Join us every week for a different stroke workshop! Learn techniques and drills to work on a specific stroke in these adult/teen workshops. Register for the whole set (9 classes) or drop in for the strokes you’re most interested in!
Prerequisite: Participants must be able to swim at least 25m comfortably.
