Access Fitness I and II

Are you between the ages of 12 and 15, and interested in gaining early access to the Cenovus Fitness Center at the Bold Center? Access Fitness I is an introductory course and will teach you the basics in setting up and using the resistance training machines, cable stations and cardio equipment. All youth ages 12 and 15 must successfully complete this course to gain access tot he fitness center.

Access Fitness II will take your access fitness basics to the next level. You’ll work with the trainer on more specific exercises using the free weights and cable machines to gain more confidence in the fitness center. Participants must have completed Access Fitness I to register for this course. Access Fitness I & II Waiver 

Active Kids Club

Explore different physical activities, sports, and team challenges each week, where fun is the focus! Participants will be introduced to several activities, learning basic physical literacy and rules in a supportive, non-competitive environment. Offered in partnership with Canadian Natural Resources Limited.

No School Friday

Our Recreation staff at the Bold Center will provide age-appropriate recreation opportunities through active afternoon programming. Pre-Registration required.

Ages| 5-12

School’s Out

Looking for something to do while school’s out? Join our Recreation staff in age-appropriate games, activities, fundamental movement skills and crafts; while exploring creativity, teamwork and fun! Pre-registration required.

Ages| 5-12

Youth Night Out

Calling all youth! Looking for a parents-free night out? Send your parents on a date night and join our recreation staff for an evening filled with games, activities, and crafts. Pre-registration required.

Everyone Gets to Play

is a Canada-wide initiative led by the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA) to make recreation more accessible for low-income children and their families. Everyone Gets to Play is a program that removes financial barriers for youth in low-income families.
