You can even drop off your children at the Cenovus Child Mind Centre where children can play and be supervised while parents attend fitness and recreation classes!

PLEASE NOTE: Correction to guide for Public Ice definitions and ages. Online version will be corrected however new paper copies will be available at the Bold Center for pick up.
PUBLIC SKATING // all ages, no pucks or sticks
OPEN ICE // weekdays during hockey season as available, ice
can be split ½ stick, ½ skate
SHINNY // ages 13-17 years
PICK-UP HOCKEY // ages 18+ years
FAMILY HOCKEY // children up to 12 years (parent-supervised for children under 8 years)
You can register for programs in person at the Bold Center or by calling a Bold Center Customer Service Representative at 780-623-3829. Payment options include cash, debit, credit card (VISA, American Express and Mastercard) and by cheque for in-person registrations; those completed by phone require VISA or Mastercard.
Youth aged 13-15 years can register for adult classes if parent/guardian also register and attends with them.
Payment is required in full at the time of registration. Accepted forms of payment include debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, cheque, or cash. Individuals will be subject to a $20 NSF charge for insufficient funds or stopped cheques.
Waiting lists will be taken for all programs. If a space opens up, you will be contacted by phone or e-mail. If demand is sufficient and appropriate time, space, and instructors are available, additional classes may be added. Programs may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
Classes may be combined or cancelled due to insufficient registration. To ensure classes run with a minimum number of participants, please register at least one week before class start dates. Participants will be notified if classes are combined or cancelled, and a transfer or refund options will be provided. Reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule cancelled classes, but that may not always be possible. In that case, a pro-rated refund or credit will be applied.
Participants can transfer to a different class, provided that space permits and they do this before the start of the second class. Instructors reserve the right to withdraw or transfer participants if a registered participant’s skill level doesn’t meet class requirements.
Participants who withdraw from a program at the end of the first class will be issued a full refund or credit. Withdrawals made after the end of the first class will not receive a refund without a doctor`s note or supporting documentation. Refund restrictions apply to courses or programs which run for 3 days or more.
Unless otherwise indicated, classes will not be offered on any statutory holiday.
We are not able to offer any make-up classes for missed classes.
Anyone interested in participating in Bold Center fitness classes or personal training must complete this form, available by clicking here. Be completely honest with your answers. Your safety and well-being are extremely important to us.
If you have medical concerns or issues, you will be given a PARmed-X form to take to your physician.
Pregnant women are required to fill out the PARmed-X for Pregnancy.
Your PAR-Q is good for one year provided there are no changes to your health or physical condition that would result in any changes to your “No” answers to a “Yes”. The PARmed-X is good for 6 months.
Download and complete the PAR-Q and PARmed-X before coming in to register and avoid delays in getting started.
Everyone is required to sign a Waiver of Liability for Negligence for Personal Fitness Training, exercise classes, drop-in classes, and workshops both on and off site.
All forms must be submitted BEFORE participating in the program. This includes fitness class drop-ins.

Pictures may be taken during classes to help promote programs. Participants will be asked for consent beforehand.
